Team America Tricks MPAA
I recently watched a documentary called This Film is Not Yet Rated. It’s about the MPAA. I strongly recommend it.
The MPAA is a black box. Whatever guidelines they may have for rating movies are not shared with the outside world. Given Matt Stone’s story about how his team “tricked” the MPAA, I reckon they work on emotion more than anything taxonomic.
