Good, Bad, Ugly: Bastion
The best place to pigeonhole Bastion would be as an action RPG. But don’t be expecting a Diablo or Torchlight! It’s more than a little different.

Silent Hunter 5 -- Impressions
Silent Hunter 5 could’ve been an amazing, genre-defining game. But Ubisoft messed that up. They bundled the game with stupid DRM and released it unfinished, with little intention to fix it post-release.
There, I said it, it feels good to get that out of the way.

Good, Bad, Ugly: Hitman 2 Silent Assassin
Some time ago, I bought several Hitman games cheap in a Steam sale. Hitman: Blood Money absolutely blew me away and is one of my all-time favourite games. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin — one of Blood Money’s ancestors in the series — did not impress me nearly as much.
Metacritic gives Hitman 2 an 87.
