you know…
I’m really tired of people saying how homophobic Christians are.
Not all of us, in fact most of us, are not.
you hear that?
ARE NOT.
I have gay/bi friends and I love then so much.
I see nothing wrong with that.
And there are homophobes who aren’t Christian you know.
And you know what, I’m in a bad mood, so if you want to reply back to this with an argument, bring it.
Since you asked for it!
Congratulations! You’re not directly responsible for homophobia!
You are, however, a mafia wife. An enabler. You sit idly by while the Christians who are homophobic go about fighting against “the gay agenda”.
(Well, maybe you personally don’t sit idly by. There’s no way for me to know. Understand that I am talking about Christian moderates generally.)
It is true that there are gay-friendly Christians. But it seems to me that they are quite rare.
If most Christians “see nothing wrong” with homosexuality, as you claim in your post, why are you so silent every time a politician or public figure argues against equality for gays? Why don’t we hear the moderates rise up and shout, “he doesn’t speak for us, he doesn’t speak for Christianity”. How do these homophobic people get into positions of power in the first place if the homophobes are in the minority of the population?
Why is it that almost all hateful comments toward homosexuals comes from Christians? If what you’re saying is true these people should be marginalised, maligned, treated as fringe nutcases and never taken seriously by the media, politicians, or the public. Obviously that isn’t so.
I actually disagree with your statement that most Christians are not homophobic.

But it doesn’t matter. Even if I were to accept the premise, I would be wondering where the bloody hell are they?
