The SBS provides services to minorities, especially from overseas, who would otherwise not be served by commercial interests. Now look at the microphone of 2GB, the home of compulsive liar and fear-monger Alan Jones, and notice how it seems to be in good repair. Everyone, please… support our public broadcasters! There’s no need to fund them directly but you must stand against anyone who would cut their funding.
